Cedarmont Kids

Husband-and-wife team Mike and Sue Gay launched Cedarmont Kids, a gospel music series aimed at children, during the early 1990s under the Benson Records label. Their goal with the project involved crafting fresh, wholesome renditions of traditional gospel numbers and beloved children's songs. The couple originated the Cedarmont Kids endeavor in 1993 within Franklin, Tennessee, the city they called home. Six albums came out first from the pair, followed by six more before 1995 concluded. They had already extended the Cedarmont Kids concept into videos by then, a venture that wrapped up in 2001. Seven additional albums emerged near the millennium's start, building an extensive collection destined for repeated use across subsequent years. While reissues of existing material occurred frequently, occasional fresh releases continued to surface.
