Biography
Born February 15, 1956, in Nuremberg, Germany, Christian Hese performs and produces under the name Christian Franke in the Schlager field. The 1981 release “Ich Wünsch Dir die Hölle auf Erden” became his debut single and launched his career with striking impact, reaching number seven on the charts and remaining there for 26 weeks. Following the 1982 album Du und Ich, he issued further singles across the remainder of the decade, yet shifted his energies toward production throughout the 1990s. A fresh single titled “Sprung im Herzen” appeared in 1999, and the album Genau Wie Du arrived three years later. A 2003 compilation came next, after which another extended break ensued. Franke resurfaced once more via the 2009 single “Geh Nicht Fort (Guardian Angel)” and the 2012 album Leben!, the latter containing the track “Apfelbaum” produced by David Brandes.
