Biography
In 2007 the country ensemble Cole Deggs & the Lonesome attained prominence through their intense romantic ballad "I Got More." Cole Deggs, a native of Lake Jackson, TX, first entered the music industry by writing songs, one of which, "Live Those Songs," appeared on Kenny Chesney's 2002 album No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems. Teaming with his brother Shade on bass, Florida native Brian Hayes on drums, and the Wallace brothers from Shreveport, LA—guitarist David and keyboardist Jimmy—he assembled the Lonesome and secured a contract with the Columbia Nashville label in 2006. Their self-titled debut arrived the next year.
