Corbin Bleu entered the world in Brooklyn during 1989 and launched his career in acting and modeling while still a toddler, with early credits in commercials and print campaigns for brands such as Hasbro, Nabisco, Gap, and Target. Before reaching the age of ten, his family relocated to Los Angeles, where he deepened his work in musical theater and began securing guest roles on television programs including Malcolm & Eddie and ER as well as parts in the films Mystery Men and Galaxy Quest. Roles accumulated steadily through the early 2000s, growing steadily more visible. He landed a lead part in Catch That Kid in 2004, joined the High School Musical franchise, and starred again in Jump In in 2007, extending his connection to Disney. Its soundtrack featured “Push It to the Limit,” marking his first recording as a vocalist. His debut album, Another Side, arrived later that year and reached the Top 40 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, aided by a track co-written by Ne-Yo. A follow-up effort, Speed of Light, appeared in March 2009.
