Biography
Hailing from Britain, Crash Island produce energetic rock shaped by the post-punk textures of the 1980s. The band formed in London in 2012 and revolves around lead singer and guitarist Gizmo Varillas. Following a series of favorably received live appearances in the U.K. and Europe, they first drew notice through multiple EPs, among them 2013’s Strange Shores and 2014’s Stormy Nights. Crash Island resurfaced in 2016 with the four-song EP Dreamwaves.
