Biography
The quartet Crooked X emerged from Coweta, Oklahoma, achieving their initial success in 2008 at the tender age of fourteen. Their sound, blending influences from Black Label Society, Pantera, and Shinedown, drew EMI's notice following support slots alongside Kiss and Ted Nugent. The label promptly inked the act and issued their first digital EP, Til We Bleed, toward the end of that year. Expansion packs for the popular video game Rock Band featured a pair of tracks from the release. In a parallel development, MTV captured footage of the group for an upcoming rags-to-riches documentary slated for broadcast in early 2009.
