In the early 1980s the American rock trio Dangerface assembled with Tony Cavazo on bass, Stephen Quadros on drums, and Gary Robertson taking vocals and guitar. Early interest in the group arose largely because Quadros had previously played in the impressive yet unsuccessful Snow and because Cavazo was the brother of Carlos Cavazo, Quiet Riot’s guitarist. Their debut album, however, offered only a haphazard and unpolished batch of pop rock numbers, revealing that the promise attached to those connections had largely vanished. After receiving a string of negative reviews, Dangerface disbanded.
