Biography
In late 2004 the punk rock outfit Ghost of a Thousand assembled in Brighton, England, and rapidly drew acclaim for its distinctive strain of ferocity. Andy Blyth and Jag Jago handled guitars, Memby Jago played drums, Tom Lacey sang, and Gez Walton covered bass; the same five musicians kept an unusually packed schedule throughout 2007, issuing their first album This Is Where the Fight Begins, supporting both Zico Chain and Flood of Red on the road, and appearing at the Reading and Leeds rock festivals. Hard-rock outlets likewise showered the group with strong approval, granting the record a solid five Ks in Kerrang!
