Db.Boutabag hails from Sacramento, California, where he has built a reputation as a rapper whose West Coast style blends cocky and confrontational energy with cool composure and broad appeal. His energetic bars and outside-of-the-box beats have drawn increasing attention from listeners, resulting in multimillion streaming figures for breakout tracks such as "Don't Choke" and "1st Off," while he has also delivered full-length projects including 2024's Still Klockin.

Releasing music began for him toward the close of the 2010s, highlighted by the West Coast hip-hop-informed 2019 song "Bag Klan Trippin'."
