Biography
Possessing a five-octave vocal range, R&B singer Debelah Morgan composed her earliest song at eight years old, soon afterward assembling a girls’ choir that she also arranged. At fifteen she led gospel choir instruction at the University of Arizona, capturing Miss Teen Black Arizona honors the same year. She next moved to Los Angeles and secured a silver medal at the NAACP international music competition. After fielding offers from several labels she signed with Motown and delivered her debut album, It's Not Over, in 1998. Dance With Me appeared two years afterward.
