Biography
R&B vocalist Donnie Klang first drew widespread attention as a participant in the fourth season of Making the Band, the MTV series created by hip-hop mogul Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1985, he began working as a model and actor at an early age and sang with a pop group during high school. After graduation he enrolled in college for a short time, then chose to focus entirely on music. He earned his cast spot in 2007 after a successful audition for Making the Band. Although fans supported him for the entire season, Combs declined to place him in the boy band and instead signed the emerging artist to a solo deal with Bad Boy records. His debut album, Just a Rolling Stone, arrived in 2008.
