Biography
Dovetail Joint, a rock band from Chicago, came together in 1994 with Chuck Gladfelter handling vocals and guitar, Robert Byrne on lead guitar, Jon Kooker playing bass, and Joe Dapier on drums. The group refined their musical style through performances in area clubs before catching the eye of Aware Records, leading to a contract and the release of their Level EP during 1998. Early in the following year, they put out the full-length album 001.
