Biography
After performing alongside the bandleader, composer, and producer Wilfrido Vargas, Dominican tropical singer Eddy Herrera launched his own orchestra in the early 1990s and quickly rose among the foremost local acts. The Casandra award-winner for Best Male Performer marked his ensemble’s tenth anniversary through the live presentation El Concierto on September 10, 2000, and followed that event with a triumphant appearance at New York’s Madison Square Garden on October 28 of the same year.
