Biography
Enbound, a melodic power metal ensemble hailing from Borås and Linköping in Sweden, originated in 2006 when Mike Cameron Force launched the project following his tenure in the acclaimed neoclassical metal bands Poem and Zonata. Several years went into assembling personnel before Force finalized the roster with bassist Swede Odén, guitarist Marvin Flowberg, and powerhouse vocalist Lars Säfsund, the last of whom had already established prominence through the AOR and melodic rock group Work of Art. Released in 2011, the band's debut album And She Says Gold earned praise both within Sweden and internationally, prompting comparisons to Rhapsody, Epica, and Kamelot. The Blackened Heart followed in 2016 as the sophomore studio release and incorporated guest contributions from vocalist Linnéa Wikström of Kamelot and Therion alongside Symphony X bassist Mike LePond.
