Biography
Fall Silent, the Reno, NV outfit, blends the ferocity of death metal with punk and hardcore elements. Its lineup consists of vocalist Levi Watson, drummer Damon Watson, guitarists Dan Galecki and Donny Johnson, and bassist Justin Spalin. The group’s first album, No Strength to Suffer, appeared in 1996. Revelation Records reissued that material in June 2001 as the compilation Six Years in the Desert, appending the Life: Beautiful But Heartless 7" together with the Nineteenhundrednintyseven 7"/CDEP. Within a year of the debut the band delivered its second full-length, Drunken Violence, an intensified recording that leaned more overtly into its metallic roots.
