Biography
Established in 2014, the Swedish power metal group Follow the Cipher originated under guitarist Ken Kängström, whose prior studio work included contributions to Sabaton, the Falun-rooted power metal band. Their approach fuses memorable melodies with vigorous classic hard rock riffs and current progressive metal textures, while their songs trace an overarching story of defiance by rebels confronting a grim, dictatorial tomorrow. Kängström shares the roster with vocalist Linda Toni Grahn, drummer Karl Löfgren, guitarist Viktor Carlsson, and bass player Jonas Asplind; every member performed on the self-titled debut album issued by Nuclear Blast in 2018.
