G-Mo Skee emerged as a provocative rapper whose tight bars fused horror, humor, and audaciously filthy themes, a craft sharpened through years of underground rap battles. As part of the Infantry Gang crew, he championed the style he himself labeled "Filth." Born Jaron Johnson in Richmond, California, the Bay Area MC took his stage name from the childhood nickname Geronimo, drawing equal influence from Wu-Tang, Dragon Ball Z, slasher flicks, and Mortal Kombat. His approach merged elements of Twiztid, Esham, and early-era Eminem, leading to a 2010 debut alongside Hopsin on the track "Shit Bowl." He followed with the 2011 mixtape Got Filth and its 2012 sequel, Got Filth: The Great Adventures of G-Mo. In 2015 came the Android FiLFTEEN EP, helmed by C-Lance, the Massachusetts-born in-house producer for Jedi Mind Tricks. After signing to Majik Ninja Entertainment, G-Mo delivered My Filthy Spirit Bomb in late 2016, which entered the Billboard 200 and reached the Top Five on the rap chart. The 2018 follow-up, Chaly & The Filth Factory, included appearances by Vinnie Paz, Crowda, and Infantry Gang.
