Gentlemen

Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, the Gentlemen operate as an adult pop trio whose first full-length album, Awaken Me, reached Top Ten placement on the Swedish albums chart in 2010. The lineup unites vocalist Mikael Grahn with Stefan Nykvist and Fredrik Willstrand, each carrying extensive Swedish music industry experience, thereby forming what amounts to an adult pop supergroup defined by its refined English-language approach. Commercial recordings began for the trio in 2009 through the single "When We Danced," with Awaken Me issued just weeks afterward. Hitmaker Emanuel Olsson, whose prior work encompasses Yusuf Islam, Garou, and Agnes, handled production duties on the set that later secured its Top Ten ranking.
