Biography
In 2018 Colbie Caillat, the singer-songwriter from sunny Southern California, assembled the sun-kissed, laid-back country band Gone West. The quartet operated as a family affair, its lineup consisting of Caillat’s fiancé Justin Young, her longtime collaborator Jason Reeves, and Reeves’ wife Nelly Joy. That configuration lent the group the air of a California spin on Little Big Town for its debut EP, Tides, which surfaced in January 2019. Every track from Tides reappeared on Canyons, the band’s first full-length album, issued in May 2020.
