Biography
Gunther Neefs, the Flemish crooner who entered the world in Mechelen, Belgium in 1965, racked up several successes during the early 1990s via numbers including "Hier in Dit Land," "Daarom Zeg Ik Nee," and "Ik Blijf Bij Jou." He cut the 2000 track "Laat Ons Een Bloem" as a posthumous duet with his father, the late cabaret singer Louis Neefs, and also stepped into his parent’s vocal part for Thomas O’Malley on the 2008 re-release of Disney’s animated film The Aristocats. Neefs marked his long-running career twice during the 2000s by issuing the compilation collections 15 and 21.
