Biography
From Houston, Haley Georgia launched her path in country music early, performing at talent shows and open mics from the age of 11 onward. Through her teenage years she honed her vocals, composed original material, and forged ties in Nashville, moving to Music City soon after finishing high school. A brief appearance during the twelfth season of American Idol drew the notice of publisher Arturo Buenahora, Jr., leading her to collaborate with his imprint, Little Louder Music. Signing with Universal produced the 2015 four-song EP Pretty Girls Mixtape, whose track “Ridiculous” showcased her brash blend of country, pop, and hip-hop rhythms. She then supported tours by Colt Ford, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, and Chase Rice while finishing her first full-length album, slated for early 2017.
