The New York electronic duo iiO, previously styled vaiio after the computer on which they penned their lyrics, made their first public appearance at a neighborhood club when “Rapture” received its initial play. The track soon became a staple in Ibiza’s clubs, began rising on European charts, and was eventually included on Universal Records’ Global Hits 2002 compilation.

Formed by DJ/producer/songwriter Markus Moser and singer Nadia, the pair’s breakthrough single later received remixes from John Creamer and Stephan K., French house act Aloud, Riva, and Deep Dish.
