Ingurgitating Oblivion

Hailing from Berlin, Germany, the progressive technical death metal group Ingurgitating Oblivion produces an eclectic compositional approach, dizzying instrumentation, and labyrinthian sonic might that brings to mind Deathspell Omega, Gorguts, and Ulcerate. The band formed in 2001 and delivered multiple EPs, splits, and demos ahead of its first full-length album, Voyage Towards Abhorrence, which appeared in 2006 on Unmatched Brutality. Signing with Willowtip Records accompanied the 2014 album Continuum of Absence, and the same label later issued Ingurgitating Oblivion’s third studio long-player, 2017’s epic Vision Wallows in Symphonies of Light.
