Biography
Emerging from Dallas, Texas, the punishing technical death metal trio Baring Teeth unleashes a ferocious fusion of doom, grind, death, and progressive metal that recalls Gorguts, KEN Mode, and Deathspell Omega. The band formed in 2010 with Andrew Hawkins on guitar and vocals, Scott Addison on bass and vocals, and Jason Roe on drums. Their hard-hitting debut full-length, Atrophy, appeared on Willowtip Records in 2011. Momentum carried forward with the 2014 sophomore release Ghost Chorus Among Old Ruins, followed in 2018 by a signing to Translation Loss and the aptly named Transitive Savagery. I, Voidhanger Records issued The Path Narrows in 2023.
