Biography
In the closing years of the 1990s and the opening years of the following decade, Jaron Lowenstein joined his identical twin Evan Lowenstein to record and perform as the duo Evan & Jaron. The pair issued three albums and multiple singles, among them the Top 20 entry “Crazy for This Girl,” before ending the partnership in 2003. While Evan devoted himself to raising a family, Jaron launched a solo project under the name Jaron and the Long Road to Love, beginning with the late-2009 single “Pray for You.” The track registered strong country-chart performance and paved the way for the 2010 album Getting Dressed in the Dark, issued on his own Jaronwood imprint through a partnership with Universal Republic.
