Katastroof

Katastroof, the Flemish trio consisting of Jos Smos, Zjuul Krapuul, and Stef Bef, came together in Antwerp in 1977 and built a reputation for their anarchic, sarcastic, and satirical commentary on social and political matters. Blending folk with reggae, rap, and rock & roll, the band notched successes across the following three decades through a series of protest and drinking songs such as "Ikkekannekik," "Zuipen," and "Met de Wijven Niks at Last," then marked their 35th anniversary in 2012 by issuing a chart-topping joint compilation with De Strangers.
