Biography
Singers Kiko, Leandro, and Bruno first crossed paths during their mid-teens and formed the group KLB in 1998. Within two years the Brazilian trio had secured regular spots on domestic television programs and earned a collective part in the local feature Popstar opposite Xuxa. Their ascent mirrored the trajectory of the Backstreet Boys, Take That, and *NSYNC, culminating in a chart-topping 2001 debut album released under Sony International. The label issued a second self-titled set the following year, after which the band mounted a nationwide tour whose sold-out dates were captured on the 2003 live album Ao Vivo. In 2004 they returned with another self-titled collection that blended dance-pop tracks and heartfelt ballads.
