Biography
Laing, an electro-pop outfit based in Berlin, Germany, takes its name from the maiden name of founder Nicola Rust's mother. The group formed in 2007 and merges three-part girl group R&B vocals with slick and minimal electronic production, yielding a Kraftwerk meets Destiny's Child vibe. Their debut album, Paradies Naiv, arrived in March of 2013.
