Biography
In 1986, singer/songwriter, TV host, and actor Pablo Carbonell launched the Spanish pop/rock outfit los Toreros Muertos. Their introduction to audiences arrived that year via the maxi-single "Yo No Me Llamo Javier," which paved the way for the debut album 30 Años de Exitos, helmed by producer Andreas Prittwitz. Amid club dates throughout the region, the track "Mi Aguita Amarilla" registered as their initial breakthrough. The group earned recognition as an alternative number in the Spanish rock scene thanks to lyrics steeped in irony, laying down Por Biafra in 1987 and following with Mundo Caracol in 1989.
