Biography
The Austin, Texas trio Love Inks brings notable restraint to its interpretation of chillwave, where Sherry LeBlanc’s soothing vocals lead a dreamy combination of guitar, bass, and vintage drum machine rhythms. Ahead of the group’s appearance at its hometown SXSW festival in 2011, Love Inks issued the debut album E.S.P. in March through City Slang. During that same month the European imprint Hell, Yes! issued the 7" single “Blackeye.” The follow-up album Generation Club surfaced in 2013, and the third full-length Exi arrived the next year.
