Originating from Forli in Italy, the electronic pop duo M+A comprises Michele Ducci on vocals and instruments together with Alessandro Degli Angioli on instruments. Their sunnily glitchy pop draws equal inspiration from the techno of Boards of Canada and the fractured pop of Panda Bear. Home sessions throughout 2011 produced the debut album Things.Yes, which the U.K. label Monotreme issued that November. The pair reappeared in 2013 with the follow-up These Days, whose more organic and band-oriented sound came from an expanded lineup featuring drummer Marco Frattini.
