Biography
Marc Romboy and Klaus Derichs make up the electronic production duo Marc Et Claude, which operates out of Germany. They jointly run the label Alphabet City, home to artists including Ferry Corsten and Future Breeze. Serious production work began for the pair amid the surge of German trance during the mid- to late-1990s. Their debut outing, “Toulouse,” appeared on the self-established imprint Le Petit Prince Records. Teaming with Jurgen Driessen in 1997, the duo crafted the track “La,” which reached the summit of the German dance charts and opened doors for them with U.K. listeners. The 2000 single “I Need Your Lovin’ (Like the Sunshine)” arrived as a tribute to the summer tour they mounted in connection with the island of Ibiza.
