Marlon Hoffstadt

At age 17, while still preparing for his A Levels, Marlon Hoffstadt completed his debut EP as an electronic DJ and producer. Based in Berlin, the artist first presented his deep and melodic electro-house approach on that opening release, You and a Lovestoned Ghost, which appeared through Germany’s Evamore Music. Those recordings quickly generated additional attention, resulting in further output on the BBE, K7, and Off Recordings imprints. Hoffstadt soon established his own WellDone Music label and began performing as a DJ worldwide; his visibility increased again when he issued his biggest track so far, “Shake That” featuring Dansson. The song earned the distinction of being the most Shazamed track in Ibiza during 2013, prompting Jesse Rose to acquire it for his Play It Down label before it received a broader release through FFRR in March 2014.
