Biography
French DJ and producer Bruno Boumendil, performing under the name Folamour, fuses the luminous qualities of disco with a pronounced house rhythm to craft relaxed yet driving club music.
Born in Lyon, he swiftly emerged as a rising figure by issuing his initial mixtape, Chapeau Rouge, in 2015 via Fauxpas Music. Building momentum thereafter, he gained recognition beyond France through his abilities behind the decks. He later founded the imprint Moonrise Hill Material in partnership with Ethyene, Kaffe Crème, and Okwa, issuing his first full-length effort, the 2017 album Umami, on that platform. During this period he relocated to London, where he launched the additional label FHUO (For Heaven Use Only) Records and delivered his second album, Ordinary Drugs, in 2019 through the new venture.
