Producer Tom Marshall crafts soulful deep house under the Marsh alias. After issuing solo singles and joint recordings across multiple imprints, he delivered his debut full-length, Life on the Shore, via Silk Music in 2017. Expanding international audiences and steady live commitments led him to the Anjunadeep roster, where he issued Lailonie in 2020 and Endless in 2023; the latter project revisited trance and drum'n'bass sounds from his adolescent years.

Born in Brighton, U.K., Tom Marshall began releasing material under the Marsh name in the early to mid-2010s. Signing with Silk Music in 2014 paved the way for joint work with Jesse Bullitt on the 2015 tracks “You & I,” “I Want Me Back,” and “Temple,” plus the 2016 single “Your Eyes,” alongside solo outings such as “Where Is the One” and “Face to Face” that highlighted his atmospheric, pulsing style. A subsequent Colorize release paired him again with Bullitt on “Rise,” “Mantis,” and “Ritual,” after which Silk Music presented Life on the Shore in June 2017, featuring Marcella Antunes, Katherine Amy, and Ellie Shantz.

Global dates alongside Above & Beyond secured Marsh a place on the Anjunadeep label and prompted his relocation to Cincinnati, Ohio. His first Anjunadeep project, the 2019 Soul EP, included “Surrender,” the initial collaboration with local vocalist Mariel Beausejour. Additional 2019 singles “1992” and “Eu Phoria” preceded the 2020 EPs Eu Topos and Lost in You. Lailonie, his debut Anjunadeep album, surfaced in November 2020 and showcased Beausejour, Mimi Page, and Leo Wood together with contributions from Wassu, Phenoir, and Forerunners. Two remix collections appeared in early 2021, followed that April by Live from Natural Bridge State Park, Kentucky. Further 2021 releases encompassed the Heaven EP in June, the Another Planet EP in September (its title track incorporating a Sun Ra speech), and the Calling EP in December. Marsh also supplied remixes for Eli & Fur and Dosem, completed a North American tour, and performed at Anjunadeep’s Printworks showcase in London.

When Endless reached Anjunadeep in February 2023, Lailonie had already surpassed 20 million streams. Composed amid continuous touring, the album integrated 2000s trance influences and references such as Pendulum, and it was supported by more than two dozen concerts across North and South America.
