Manchester rapper Meekz swiftly established himself as "one to watch" within the U.K. scene of the late-2010s and early-2020s, showcasing a distinctive approach through anthems such as "6 Figures" and "Can't Stop Won't Stop."

Raised in Gorton, Manchester, the British rapper absorbed classic hip-hop during his formative years, drawing from figures like Master P and Soulja Slim as he refined his microphone technique. Recognized by peers for his lyrical ability, Meekz entered the industry in 2018 and revealed early promise via tracks including "Trxppish" and "Take Losses!!" Two freestyle appearances first elevated his profile: one on the U.K. outlet Scene Smasher in December 2018, followed by Hoods Hottest the next January. These showcases presented a direct view of his gritty vocals and broad command of flows.

Throughout 2019 he steadily expanded his output, issuing the drill-adjacent "T House" in March, the lyrically driven "Rap Aside" in October, and the more mellow "6 Figures" that December. Opening 2020 with several releases such as "Year of the Real" and "Big Bag," Meekz scored his strongest successes to date with "Can't Stop Won't Stop" and "Like Me," tracks that embodied his drive. The debut EP sharing that title appeared in June, gathering fresh cuts alongside prior standouts.
