Neverstore

Formed in 2000 in the Swedish town of Skövde, the punk-pop group Neverstore included bassist Oscar Kempe, drummer Eric Lantz, and guitarist/vocalist Jacob Widén, drawing likenings to established American acts in the style such as Green Day and Weezer. The band's first single, "So Much of Not Enough," appeared shortly ahead of its debut album, Sevenhundred Sundays, during 2007. Neverstore maintained a heavy touring schedule, which in turn secured support slots for acts including Good Charlotte and My Chemical Romance. Two nominations at the 2007 MTV Europe Video Awards followed for the group, covering Best Swedish Band and Best New Band.
