Biography
In his early twenties, singer/songwriter Patrick Davis launched his recording career with a debut album that took a sincere approach to alternative country-rock. Although born in Tennessee, he grew up in South Carolina, where his blues-guitarist parent instilled an early love of roots music. At seventeen he began playing the small-town bar circuit, sharpening his Americana style through opening slots for artists such as Edwin McCain and Hootie & the Blowfish. Regional touring throughout the Southeast soon followed, building his profile alongside the recording and release of the EP The Demo. Much of 2002 was spent in the studio cutting his first full-length album with producer Mark Bryan.
