Biography
Pushmonkey, the hard rock group based in Austin, Texas, made their first appearance in 1994 through the independently issued Maize, which achieved strong local radio airplay. The following year brought a three-song cassette from the band, led by the song "Caught My Mind" that reached the top of Houston-area playlists. After signing with Arista, the major label, Pushmonkey returned in 1998 via a self-titled LP.
