Biography
A glam rock and metal outfit from the Northern Savonia city of Kuopio, Reckless Love first assembled in 2001 as the Guns N' Roses tribute act Reckless Life. Within three years the musicians had shifted to writing original material in a Sunset Strip-inspired sleaze rock style under their present name, earning first place at the 2004 Kuopio Band Competition. A recording contract with Spinefarm arrived in 2009, leading to the release of their debut major-label single "One More Time." The self-titled studio album followed in 2010 and debuted at number thirteen on the Finnish National Charts. Animal Attraction, issued the next year, climbed to number ten, while Spirit reached number three in 2013 and remains their highest-charting effort. Early 2016 brought the fourth album InVader, on which the band pursued a more radio-friendly approach. That evolution continued with the synth-metal sound of Turborider in 2022, which featured a cover of Ozzy Osbourne's "Bark at the Moon."
