Biography
In 2004 the quartet formerly operating as Penumbra—Tom Brown on bass and vocals, Mike Mazzarese on percussion, Dave Fyten on guitar and vocals, and Andrew Breit on guitar, keyboards, and vocals—brought in Brett Ditgen as lead singer and adopted the name Red Line Chemistry. The hard rock band issued an EP that same year, earning local radio play in its hometown of Kansas City, Missouri, then issued its first full-length album, Chemical High and a Hand Grenade, in 2006. Additional momentum arrived in 2007 through slots at Kansas City Rock Fest 2007 and the Warped Tour.
