Scarlet Rebels

Originating from Llanelli in South Wales, Scarlet Rebels combine melodic guitar lines with the drive of hard rock. The Welsh group came together in 2018, with Wayne Doyle on vocals and guitar, Gary Doyle behind the drums, Chris Jones handling lead guitar, Wayne Esmonde on bass, and Josh Townshend also on guitar, the latter being the son of the Who's Simon Townshend as well as the nephew of Pete Townshend. Their first album, Show Your Colours, appeared the following year on Rock Angel Records. Though the next record had reached its final stages by 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic forced a delay, so the band released a live EP instead. See Through Blue arrived in 2022 on Earache Records.
