Biography
Formed as a ferocious American outfit blending melodic death metal with metalcore, Serpentine Dominion draws on the skills of extreme metal icons vocalist George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher (Monstrosity, Cannibal Corpse), guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz (Killswitch Engage), and drummer Shannon Lucas (Black Dahlia Murder). The concept first took shape in 2009 after the flagship groups of all three musicians shared the bill at that year’s Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. Once scheduling finally permitted, the trio recruited Killswitch frontman Jesse Leach to write lyrics and entered the studio to record an album. Issued through Metal Blade on Halloween weekend in 2016, the self-titled debut captured the spirit of this side endeavor.
