Shuarma

Emerging from Barcelona as a singer and songwriter, Shuarma first rose to prominence fronting the pop/rock outfit Los Elefantes and issuing four albums with the group across the years 1994 to 2006. His solo recordings, which began with the 2007 album Universo, took on a noticeably more introspective tone. These projects, like his earlier band output, have routinely been reissued in deluxe editions as well as acoustic and live variants. A committed humanitarian activist, Shuarma has often lent his efforts to campaigns organized by Intermon Oxfam.
