Morgan

Marco Castoldi came into the world in Milan mere days ahead of Christmas 1972. He began piano studies well before high school and simultaneously cultivated an interest in bass and vocals. In 1992 he united with keyboardist and saxophonist Andrea Fumagalli plus guitarist Marco Pancaldi to launch Bluvertigo; drummer Sergio Carnevale joined later, and Livio Magnini eventually took Pancaldi’s place. After three albums with the band, Castoldi—known musically as Morgan—chose an independent route and delivered Canzoni dell’Appartamento in 2003. The following year he composed music for the film Il Siero della Vanità, then offered a reinterpretation of Fabrizio De André’s 1971 album Non al Denaro, Né all’Amore, Né al Cielo in 2005. June 2007 saw Morgan surface again with the solo release Da A ad A.
