Biography
Formed in 1994, Italian pop/rock outfit Soerba originated through the partnership of Luca Urbani, formerly of Retroscena, and Gabriel D'Amora. Drummer Stefano Floriello came aboard in sufficient time for the trio to support Bluevertigo on stage in August 1997. PolyGram added the group to its roster the next year, resulting in the release of debut album Playback together with the singles “I Am Happy” and “Fuori Di Testa.” Soerba later appeared at the 1999 San Remo Festival performing “Noi Non Ci Capriano.”
