Hailing from Valencia, California, Stand Before the Firing Squad unleashes an unpredictable fusion of hardcore, grindcore, spazzcore, heavy metal, math metal, and jazz across Noise Machine, the band's first post-rock album. Hand of Hope Records issued the recording in 2006, spotlighting the work of Collin Stafford on vocals, Derrick Cisneros on guitar, Nick Connell on bass, and Alex Onate on drums as they shattered standard musical-theory conventions however they chose, or, as they described it, via "a series of noises arranged and unarranged with equal deliberativeness."
