Biography
Originally established in 1991, the Swedish heavy metal outfit Tad Morose has seen numerous personnel shifts across the decades, yet founding guitarist Christer "Krunt" Andersson remains the sole uninterrupted presence. What began as a four-piece configuration of vocals, guitar, bass, and drums expanded with the addition of a keyboardist in 1993, the same year the group captured its inaugural demo and promptly secured a contract with Black Mark Production. The resulting five-member lineup delivered its first album, Leaving the Past Behind, which critics characterized as merging the styles of Metallica and Dream Theater. Sender of Thoughts arrived as the follow-up full-length in 1995, joined later that year by the five-song live release Paradigma, overseen by producer Mike Wead of Mercyful Fate and Memento Mori. After vocalist Kristian Andrèn exited, the band quickly stabilized by recruiting Urban Breed. Subsequent recordings included A Mended Rhyme in 1997 and Undead in 2001, marking the latter as Tad Morose's initial outing on Century Media.
