The Rubens

The Rubens emerged in 2011 from Menangle, New South Wales, as an Australian quartet devoted to soulful, melodic rock. Brothers Sam Margin (vocals/guitar), Zaac Margin (guitar), and Elliott Margin (keyboards/vocals) anchor the group alongside longtime friend Scott Baldwin (drums). Their self-titled debut album arrived in 2012, earned platinum certification on the strength of its sales, and secured a J Award nomination for Album of the Year. The band followed with their sophomore release, Hoops, in 2015, spotlighting the single "Hallelujah."
