Biography
Thine Eyes Bleed, the Canadian neo-thrash-deathsters, include several members whose backgrounds prove equally distinctive, among them bassist Johnny Araya—the brother of Slayer legend Tom—and guitarist Jeff Phillips, who previously served as a tech for all-girl nu-metal troupe Kittie. The group formed in 2004, rounding out its roster with vocalist Justin Wolfe, guitarist Dave Newell, and drummer Darryl Stephens. After releasing a pair of demos and sharing stages with Superjoint Ritual, Candiria, and Kittie, the band delivered its competent debut, In the Wake of Separation, via The End Records in early 2005.
